Our Advisory Group

Our Advisory Group was formed in 2024 and is made up of former participants who have generously chosen to stay involved and help shape the future of The Mindful Life Group. Bringing together a wide range of skills, perspectives, and life experiences, they support us by offering feedback, generating ideas, and helping us stay connected to the lived experience of those we serve.

Their insight is invaluable in helping us stay true to what matters most: delivering accessible, meaningful, and effective programs that reflect the real needs of our community. We’re deeply grateful for their ongoing time, wisdom, and commitment.

  • Manus

Manus is a 75-year-old retiree living with his family in the lovely Suffolk countryside near Bury St. Edmunds.
He attended the online Mindfulness for Later Life course in 2021. Manus helps coordinate a weekly online get-together with some of his fellow attendees.

  • Jane K

Jane, a retired doctor, first took part in our Mindfulness for Later Life course in 2021 and returned in 2023 to deepen her practice. She has drawn on mindfulness both in her personal life and throughout her medical career.

  • Marion M

Marion retired after nearly 40 years in teaching, including 20 years as a Headteacher. She enjoys walking, painting, and gardening. Over the past five years, Marion attended two mindfulness courses with us, which she found to be transformative. As a result, she and a group of fellow participants continue to meet regularly to enjoy the calm and peacefulness of Adele’s practices.
