Mindfulness for People who Care

Our mindfulness for people who care course is for people who care for a friend or family member, or have done previously.

If you are a person who:

  • Cares for an adult family member or friend

  • Cares for a child with additional needs

Then this course is for you!

The care you provide may be formal or informal, and it may be care that you no longer provide.

We know that current or previous caregiving can deplete the people who provide it, and this course has been designed to support you, wherever you are in your caregiving journey.

About the group:

  • The group is a closed group, run over a period of ten consecutive weeks, followed by a focus group discussion.

  • It will be held online via zoom during daytime hours.

  • Participants are expected to commit to attending all ten sessions.

  • Home practice is a very important part of the course.

  • Participants will be given a link to a series of guided practises and handouts to download, the home practice is typically 20-30 minutes a day.

  • We ask participants to complete questionnaires at various points before, during and after the course, and we will provide you with feedback on your outcomes following the course.
