Under development - robust, evidence-based online programs for healthy brain aging, mild cognitive impairment, and reduced dementia risk.

We hope to be able to offer them from Autumn/Winter 2024.

Our New Programs

Healthy Brain

Popular advice on brain health and dementia prevention is often based on isolated studies and/or may not be applicable across the entire population. We know that this makes it difficult for people to know what the most helpful strategies are going to be for them. Our evidence-based program intentionally includes comprehensive psychosocial and neurocognitive assessments prior to the course, so that participants can clearly identify the best and most robust strategies for optimizing their brain health in later life.

The Mind Cog Program

Approximately 1.5 million people are living with a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in the UK. MCI is recognised as a risk factor for dementia and from a psychological point of view is a ‘window of opportunity’ to improve cognitive functioning. Despite this, access to support and information for MCI patients and their families is very limited. Our Mind Cog program is being developed by Clinical Psychologists to address this and is based on a combination of current research evidence and best practice guidelines.
